Our Objectives
Awareness
From the ever greens of the forests to the shimmering golds of the savannahs. From the sky blues above to the deep blues below. From the tiny and delicate, to the magnificent and ferocious lives that soar to the heavens, dive to the depths or stride across the earth. We are dedicated to conserving and committed to celebrating the beauty and joy of the natural world in all its diverse wonder.
Education
The future of conservation is rooted in education, bringing the passion and energy of the next generation together with the learned voices of knowledge and wisdom. We believe that environmental education should be available to everyone from anywhere, giving all inquiring young minds the opportunity to broaden their understanding and shape their visions by standing on the shoulders of giants.
Action
Words are cheap and conservation in a climatically changing world is expensive. Through our fundraising activities, we award grants and donations to registered conservation charities large or small, and our annual Alf Rewin Scholarship fully funds the further education of a conservation expert of the future.
What we do
We are proud that our first donation was to the Mabula Ground Hornbill Project in South Africa, supporting them to secure, repopulate and conserve the Southern Ground-Hornbill.
Securing
Securing current Southern Ground-Hornbill population through increased community engagement and the reduction of threats including poison, persecution, electrocution and trade.
Repopulating
Reintroducing Southern Ground-Hornbills, through a programme based on best-practice and peer-reviewed research, into areas where they have become locally extinct.
Conserving
Expanding conservation programmes to all savannah species through sustainable environmental education and skills training, enhanced landowner participation and greater awareness of conservation as a career.
We put the fun in fundraising!
